Our location on the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway means goods can be seamlessly imported and exported. We are the westernmost port of Lake Michigan and offer the shortest and most direct route for shipments between the Midwest and international markets.

Transporting goods by ship means larger quantities can be safety moved faster and at a lower cost. The Port of Green Bay transports more than two million metric tons of cargo each year, valued at more than $300 million.

The Port is a critical link in Wisconsin's transportation system and serves as a multi-modal distribution center connecting waterborne vessels with an extensive network of highways and railroads, meaning goods move quickly and efficiently.
